It was time for new license plates for a venerable car, but I couldn’t budge the old ones.  Signal to the rescue!  They also noted the Venerable One was due for an oil change and helped w/ that (with my OK) and did a careful safety check.  There are some smoldering problems, and Avi explained in terms I understood (and sent pictures).  I deferred for the time being – but I’m thinking about what he said.  When I picked up the car, Avi asked if I had any questions.  That doesn’t happen most places.  Great experience.
